About Us
John and Mary Lou Couch purchased Gibboney’s General Country Store from Don & Carole Gibboney in 2002 and renamed it Couch’s Subs & Grocery. In 2004, they bought Lakevue Farm from John’s parents and built a new facility for Couch’s in 2007 on the edge of the farm. At the new location, customers could have more parking as well as more space to enjoy family and friends, food, and a quiet country atmosphere. We now sell and use 100%, no antibiotic, no fillers, Lakevue Farm-raised beef in our hamburgers and meatloaf. We make our own Sandwich Salads, Macaroni Salad, Cole Slaw, Mashed Potatoes, Meatloaf, Wing Sauces, and Sweet Tea.
